Ecclesiastes 9:11 (King James)

I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

Oh how we labor in vein!

Living in a retirement community and seeing the health of my neighbors dwindle, many, sadly, only jack up their comforts and spend more on cruises, backyard retreats, flat screen TVs, and dog grooming only to find that, one day, all their wealth and resources will go to sustain a health care system that "cares" very little for them and, all the while, never asking "What does anyone gain from all their labors at which they toil under the sun?"
